Sydney's Italian suburb

Water seems to feature a lot in my photos - and no doubt there will be more! But as a change, I thought I'd show you a little part of Leichhardt - Sydney's very own little Italy! The Italian Forum is a very popular venue on the weekends: it's got a whole selection of Italian restaurants, from the relatively affordable, all the way to the more high class dining experience. The forum itself has a great European feel to it, with outdoor dining, fountain, and European-style architecture, and of course, great food!

There are lots of Italians in Australia right?

Hi Eric. Err, I guess it depends on what you mean by a lot. But as far as Australia goes, many people have at least one parent that wasn't born in Australia - we're a fruit salad kind of country really! And to me, that's part of the beauty of living here:)

But talking specifically about Italians, I guess you could say there are lots, especially in Leichhardt!
